Cyber Rhetoric Writing 502h

At Winthrop University, I am taking a class called Cyber Rhetoric Writing 502. This class, by far is my favorite class by far this semester. Everything we learn in this class is going to help me outside with my major of Technical Writing. Dr. Sarah Spring teaches the class, and is so awesome! Writing 502 is all about how novels and books are becoming digitized throughout society because of the technology that is happening now throughout the world. This class is preparing me for the future, and I love it. The big question is what is Cyber Rhetoric Writing 502? Well, it's a definition that only each person can answer individually. This definition is unique to each and every person; no one really knows the definition exactly; the world is changing constantly with each and every technology, and from this, the people are changing, and the definition of Cyber Rhetoric changes with it. The different concepts and topics that I have learned in class have made me think more critically about the technologies that are around me, and the different media that is being digitized every year, and even every month! This class has taught me how to be open minded to the different technologies around me, and how to use them to benefit me. Writing 502 is a class that I will take with me into my future.

The video on this page is about creating an analysis from the beginning to the end. This was an assignment for Writing 502, which I made this video from my iPhone, then loaded it into my computer, to where I then imported it into YouTube. This video only a few minutes long, but hopefully it has some information that will help you, or whoever watches it!

Also, throughout the semester, we read two books that have a lot of information about the Cyber World. These two books are, Hamlet on the Holodeck, written by Janet H. Murray, and Electronic Literature, written by N. Katherine Hayles. These two books have so much information, and correlate with the world that is now. Take a look at these books, and you will find something that you will enjoy!
